Selecting The Best Napa Auto Parts Stores

Your car is just as great as the parts in it (unless you just like a very expensive lawn ornament). Even though it is good that there is so much competition in the auto parts business, it is also a bit annoying that there is so much competition in the auto parts business. If you're within walking distance of a car parts place, then it will probably decide for you of what store to choose. But if you should drive to get to a car parts and auto supply store, you most likely can drive to Napa Auto Parts.

There's Lots of Them

You will find over 6,000 Napa Auto Parts stores around the world and they are not going anywhere anytime soon. Napa is short for National Automotive Parts Association. There is at least one Napa Auto Parts store where you live. (If you don’t live in America, then I'm afraid that you are going to need to look elsewhere for your automotive supply needs).

Napa Auto Parts has been around for over eighty years. However, the actual parts they sell are a lot younger than that. They claim they stock over 375,000 parts and have every one of them listed in a computer inventory which any customer with a web connection can access.

Huge Online Site

Just in case you cannot go to a Napa Auto Parts store, you could try their online website, which lists what you could get in all of their real world stores. Remember that law prevents some chemical products from being shipped with the mail, therefore the products you would need to purchase in a real store.

You're not limited to just common car parts at Napa Auto Parts. If you drive a commercial truck, an All Terrain Vehicle, motorcycle, snowmobile or tractor, you will find equipment for your rig. You simply need to click on to the Napa PartsPro SE online catalogue. They also list parts for boats, personal watercraft, and some auto repair tools like depth gauges and Starrett micrometers.

My favorite section on the Napa Auto Parts website is the 'Know How' section, which lists a lot of free and useful information on basic car maintenance that every car owner needs to do (but generally pays someone else to do). These sundry activities include tips on how to do oil changes, replacing your wiper blades, replacing the fuses and changing an air filter. It almost makes me wish I had a car.

Low RPM's.......... maybe?

The reason i say maybe is because I've never really paid attention to them until today so it may actually be fine. I tuned my car up yesterday ( 99 millenia ) and I used the usual parts ( ngk wires, ngk v-power plugs, cap, rotor from napa, pcv valve, and i went from a fram air filter to a k&n and everything went smoothly. I noticed today that at idle my RPM's are between 3 to 400 but the car runs smoothly, doesn't hesitate or stall, acceleration is good so am i worrying for nothing or should the RPM's be higher and if so what do I need to check?

That seems awfully low, but I don't suppose you can complain so long as it doesn't stall if you suddenly give it gas. Have you checked the timing?
