UK Does Not Need Air Con
There are a lot of people here in the UK that have taken a recent interest in installing air conditioners?
Even in the warmest of months during the year I would still not say that anyone here in the UK is in real need of air conditioning systems that cost a lot money.
These kinds of systems are actually very damaging to the environment and this is because they are running purely on electricity which means that on top of the massive bill you will get for installation you are going to be paying at least double for the electrics too, it is just silly. Of course if you are in America in somewhere like Florida you have to expect the places to be called because it would be impossible to breathe without them.
There are of course many alternatives to something like this and it would seem the main ones are going to be the portable air conditioner as well as the pedestal fanand of course other mini dehumidifiers which is always good.
The fact is that all of these cause a lot less energy and money than installing an entire system into the home and the chances are that you are going to be sat in one area of the home for a longer period of time than others (take sitting in front of the television as an example) it would mean that all you need to do is put the portable fan next to you and away you go!
If it is really that bad then why not get yourself a nice cold, iced drink and get a small portable fan to keep yourself cool! Of course if you would rather spend a lot of money on something you will not be using much by all means do it.
Can you put air-conditioning in an old mini?
I know that anything is possible, but how feasible is it? I love my old mini but now that its coming into summer here I would love to put in air-con but wouldn't know where it would be put and if the cost is really worth it. Any suggestions?
