i own a repair shop,and i think your talking about the one that bolts to the transmission bolt ,it has to be removed so that you can get it off,but you better soak it really good with some penetrating oil because everyone i have had in the shop,has almost broken on me when i tried to remove them,you may have to heat the clamp part of it next to the pipe to keep from ruining it,,and the pipe will rattle if you don't put it back on,good luck i hope this help,s.
