Anyway is that possible to run it on 120V? The elect. box on the compressor is taken apart with two wires hanging out. The motor is a 230V manetek 60hz 1 phase (PN 8-181215). some compressor motors can be wired to run on 120 or 240 volt. you can make a new cover plate to cover up the wires since you have a compressor now just make sure the wires are not bare tape them up or put a wire cap on them so they dont short out, i would do it before you plug it in a motor that size will cost you a wad of cash to replace. good for you for getn it for free good luck :0)
